Community Outreach
Our Community Outreach program teaches students to use AI platforms like Salesforce Einstein and Zoho CRM to deeply analyze and respond to community engagement patterns. This approach enables students to develop targeted initiatives and craft personalized communication strategies using predictive analytics, significantly enhancing outreach effectiveness and preparing them for any future role involving strategic communications, resource management/mobilization, and operational logistics.
Internal Operational Advancement
Chapters' Internal Operational Advancement curricula equips students with the technical skills to optimize corporate operations, utilizing AI and Robotic Process Automation tools like UiPath and scheduling software like Reclaim.AI, to optimize daily operations. This automation reduces errors and operational costs while preparing students to implement and manage transformative technologies, equipping them for future roles that demand efficiency and innovation.
External Operational Advancement
Our External Operational Advancement department teaches students to streamline AI tools for technical management through Microsoft Teams, Salesforce Einstein, and Asana, aimed to improve collaboration with external stakeholders. This technology streamlines communication, automates project management, and provides predictive insights, preparing students to effectively manage and enhance key external relationships across various sectors.
Corporate Publication
Chapters' Corporate Publication department utilizes AI tools such as Grammarly Business and Acrolinx to automate and enhance style standardization, error correction, and content formatting. This training ensures all communications meet the highest professional standards, cementing students with future-oriented success as communications, marketing, and public relations careers continue to evolve.
Academic Publication
For future published scholars of any field: our Academic Publication department teaches student researchers how to integrate AI tools such as Iris.ai for comprehensive literature reviews and QuillBot for improving text clarity and originality. Sophisticated AI use and support enables researchers to conduct precise, high-quality research and write most effectively, equipping them with the skills necessary to publish in any academic or professional field. Through this program, we equip students to gain the expertise needed to navigate the publication process successfully in any discipline.
Cultural Publication
Chapters' Cultural Publication department teaches student journalists to use AI tools like Crimson Hexagon and Google Cloud Natural Language to dissect and understand cultural data, allowing students to spot trends and customize content for varied audiences. This proficiency not only boosts engagement but also equips students for creative journalism careers in documentaries, podcasts, artistic portfolios, blogs, and other media forms, where adapting content to global perspectives is crucial as journalism continues to evolve.
Identify and recruit at least 3 students to fill key leadership roles: 1 President, and at least 2 of the following (VP Finance, VP Technology, VP Civic Engagement, VP Internal, VP Marketing, VP Publication).
Select at least one professor/administrator as your chapter's founding faculty advisor.
An ideal advisor holds true to strong moral character and ethical leadership, serving to encourage and inspire their chapter's executive leadership in their community betterment and global development initatives. Faculty advisors are crucial mentors who provide guidance, help navigate school policies, and ensure the chapter's successful integration into the school environment.
Additionally, this faculty advisor, along with the chapter president and other vice-presidents, will serve on their university's Executive Board of Directors. Annually, your university's board liaises with the Executive Boards of our other universities, facilitating a broader exchange of executive leadership, ideas, and collaboration.
To initially establish a chapter, at least one faculty advisor is required. However, to establish a fully functioning board, a minimum of three university professors or administrators must be appointed as board directors for the chapter. Fully functioning boards must be established before the end of a chapters' founding academic year. his structure is crucial for the chapter's alignment with broader university goals and long-term success.
Every chapter operates differently depending upon their environment, resources, and objectives, so it's paramount to define your chapter’s unique focus as early as possible.
Whether it's service hours, fundraising, professional development, or workshops— organize your activities and engagement initatives accordingly! With this, each chapter member should have specific responsibilities, all geared towards fostering leadership and organizational skills.
Membership is open to any student eager to eleavte their community through leadership, with a commitment to a minimum of 50 hours of service annually.
Functional chapter operation does not require all 16 departments to be filled. Rather, out of SafeStride's commitment to beneficence—there is always opportunity for any and all willing university students to thrive alongside AI across any industry.
Engage with peers who share a passion for global and community leadership and invite them to join as chapter members. To be registered at your university, a chapter must have at least 10 founding members (this may include the 5 leadership students).
There are many ways to recruit new members—remember, people join people, not organizations. Get out there and spread some light!
